Terry Betts, Managing Director said, “we are both proud and pleased of our performance this quarter, particularly in light of the challenges and uncertainty in the UK economy. Nonetheless, we have faced challenges before but our firm commitment to invest and our resolve to grow continues to reward us with the kind of record breaking results we have reported today. Our performance is in line with our expections and we remain on track to deliver on our outlook for the year.
“We have never ruled out acquiring businesses provided they have the right fit but we have no interest whatsoever in a merger, change in our financial structure or a change in ownership. For the future, we have many opportunities ahead to position the company for long term growth whilst maintaining our attention on operating discipline.”
