CCS MEDIA CELEBRATES 25TH ANNIVERSARY
January 2008…CCS Media,
one of the UK’s largest IT Resellers is celebrating its 25th anniversary
this month. Formed in January 1983, the company has gradually increased
its product lines in response to customer requirements and today, it
supplies office products, IT hardware and software, networking,
technical services and office furniture to the business and public
sectors, including Central and Local Government, Education Departments
and the Emergency Services sector.
CCS Media
has enjoyed impressive growth over the years with rapidly rising
turnover and a steady expansion in its network of offices. In 1986, the
company reported a turnover of £1 million pounds. In 1996, the company
reported a massive increase in turnover of £10 million pounds with this
trend continuing in 2001 with a turnover of £20 million, £30 million the
following year, £40 million in 2004 and a staggering £50 million in
2007.
In terms of monthly records, July 2006 was the best month ever for
CCS Media, when it recorded sales of £4.3 million alone!
In 1993, the company moved into it’s current Head Office in Chesterfield
and further, opened offices in East Kilbride and Ascot, followed by an
opening in Bradford in 2002, Ilford and Harrow in 2003, Southend and
Leatherhead in 2005 and Hemel Hempstead and Manchester in 2007. In
addition, CCS Media acquired Data Memories plc in 1994, Euribon
plc in 1998 and First4Media in 2006, the latter being a leading tape
media reseller to the broadcasting industry.
Over the years, CCS Media has formed strong business
relationships with all major hardware and software manufacturers such as
Hewlett Packard and IBM to name but a few and developed successful
partnerships with manufacturers of magnetic storage media such as Fuji
and Maxell.
CCS Media’s
magic formula is down to its commitment to complete customer
satisfaction; the company provides each customer with its own dedicated
and fully trained Account Manager, it assures best pricing and excellent
standards of service and delivery.
The company has high ambitions to expand further across the country with
plans to open further offices in 2008. Terry Betts, Managing Director

January 2008… Despite
the doom and gloom surrounding the state of the economy, CCS Media’s new
Manchester office is proud to be bucking the trend by reporting
fantastic sales of over half a million pounds within just three months
of opening.

CCS MEDIA (MANCHESTER) HITS THE £1 MILLION MILESTONE
WITHIN SIX MONTHS!

2008... The Manchester office of one of the UK’s leading IT
resellers, has defied the credit crunch by reporting that business is
thriving and is embarking on a recruitment campaign to employ additional
sales staff. CCS Media opened its Manchester operation last October and
by January 2008, it reported sales of £500,000; an impressive result
after just three months of trading. Now, six months down the line, with
consistent month on month growth, the company has smashed the £1 million
mark. As a consequence, it has acquired larger office space in the
city’s Trafford Park area to facilitate further expansion. James Hardy,
Sales Manager commented "The overwhelming, yet sustainable growth has
been a result of a number of key factors. The quality of staff available
in the Manchester area is outstanding, coupled with first class
manufacturer relationships, buying power and back office support. Our
